This is where you start!  Learn the basic skills you need to succeed in the kitchen.  Topics include food safety, knife safety, knife skills, prep and organization, tastes and flavors, seasoning, dips/dressings, salads, and basic roasting/sauteing.  We will make friends with our knives and do lots of chopping, because if you aren't chopping... you aren't cooking!
